How do I do automatic backups on my Mac?
When you register with ADSM, you must select a backup schedule. If you have already registered and have not selected a backup schedule, visit the Installing the ADSM Client for Macintosh page to read about the different schedules in the More Information section. Next, go to the Update/Delete/Change ADSM Node -Request page and specify your nodename and which schedule you would like.

The ADSM Scheduler program must be running for backups to occur automatically. It is a good idea to place an alias of the program in the Startup Items folder in the System Folder so that it launches everytime your computer is turned on or restarted. You can hide the ADSM Scheduler program using the Application menu in the upper-right hand corner of the screen.
