heoretical Division

Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, NM

I received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan working with Michael A. Savageau and did postdoctoral work with Alan S. Perelson and Byron Goldstein in theoretical immunology and biophysics at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where I am now a Scientist in the Theoretical Biology and Biophysics Group of the Theoretical Division. I am also affiliated with the Department of Biology at the University of New Mexico, the Translational Cancer Cell Biology and Signaling Program in the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Center for Evolutionary and Theoretical Immunology, the Center for Spatiotemporal Modeling of Cell Signaling, the Autophagy, Inflammation and Metabolism Center and the Center for Nonlinear Studies. I am interested in modeling cellular regulatory systems and the development of novel methods and software tools tailored for modeling these systems. I am one of the principal organizers of the q-bio Summer School.
