This video will show you how to use the ADSM Client for Windows to backup a specific file or folder.

More Information

1. Click the plus symbol () next to the hard drive icon to show your folders.

2. Make sure to click the checkbox next to the folder you want to backup.

If it doesn't have this icon ( ), then it will not be backed up.

3. You backup a folder within a folder by clicking the plus symbol () next to the first folder and putting a check () next to the folder you wish to backup.

4. To backup a specific file, highlight the folder the file is in. Then, you will see the folder's contents in the right side of the window.

Place a check () next to the file you wish to backup.

5. To backup a specific file that is located in a nested folder, you combine More Information steps 3 and 4.

First, click the plus symbol () next to the first folder. You will see a list of folders. Click the plus symbol () next to the folder the file is in. Highlight the folder. You will see the files in the folder on the right side of the window. Last, place a check () next to the file to be backed up.
