Interests:
Beth Wingate is
a Technical Staff Member at Los Alamos National
Laboratory. Her research interests are primarily in fluid
dynamics, particularly geophysical fluids where rotation
and stratification take prominent roles.
She also has interests in numerical analysis, turbulence
modeling, dynamical systems and applied mathematics. Her
recent efforts include investigating the role of
Lagrangian verses Eulerian averaging in fluid instability
and turbulence problems.
