There are several opportunities for students to work at the lab. Most of the research interests listed on my website are suitable for student participation.
The Institute for Geophysics and Planetary Physics (IGPP) has a mini-grant program to support students. Grants are awarded to collaborations between a university and lab PI.
Los Alamos National Laboratory maintains a vigorous internship program for students of all levels. Summer, part-time and full-time opportunities are available for pre-college, undergraduate, and graduate students.
The Center for Nonlinear Studies (CNLS) is part of the labs Theoretical Division. It participates in the labs Summer Student Program. In addition, it has funding opportunities for excellent graduate students.
Please contact me if you are interested in one of these opportunities.
