There are several opportunities for postdocs to work at the lab. Most of the research interests listed on my website are suitable for postdoc participation.
The Institute for Geophysics and Planetary Physics (IGPP) has a mini-grant program to support postdocs. Grants are awarded to collaborations between a university PI and a lab PI. The grants are principally meant to support the participating postdoc.
The Center for Nonlinear Studies (CNLS) is part of the labs Theoretical Division. It participates in the labs postdoc program. Types of postdoc appointments range from programmatic postdocs, who participate in the labs ongoing research projects, to several competitive fellowships that are available for excellent candidates to work on their own chosen research.
