Overview

I work at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the Computer, Computational, and Statistical Sciences Division, in the Information Sciences Group, where I lead the Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Team. I am also affiliated with the Los Alamos Bioscience Division and the Center for Nonlinear Studies.

My main research interests are systems biology and structural biology. We have close collaborations with the Knowledge Systems and Computational Biology Team and with the Theoretical Biology and Biophysics Group, especially in the area of Cell Signaling. In collaboration with a diverse group of scientists, we seek to learn how the complex interactions of genes and gene products give rise to the characteristics of living things.

Please visit descriptions of our research in systems biology and structural biology, and browse our publications.
