Areas of Interest

Performance analysis of wireless networks, resource allocation and scheduling, congestion relief and dynamic load balancing in cellular and ad hoc networks, wireless sensor networks, design and analysis of 3G/4G wireless communication systems, improvement of TCP performance over wireless links.

Current focus on the performance analysis of dynamic load balancing (DLB) in 3G/4G wireless networks. Recently, developed a unified framework to study DLB schemes in 1G/2G wireless systems, and studied the blocking and handover performance of several existing schemes for single and multi-type traffic. Currently, working on designing dynamic load balancing, mainly resource allocation and scheduling, algorithms to improve the performance of  wireless packet data networks.
